Watertown Girls Fastpitch (aka Watertown Thunder), located in Watertown, Wisconsin, is an organization committed to the development of girls fastpitch softball in southeastern Wisconsin. Watertown Thunder offers fastpitch softball teams for girls ages from 6 to 18. The Thunder program participates in leagues in the area and are members of USA Softball. Thunder travel teams also participate in various tournaments throughout the summer.

In 2026, we are adding an option for girls to play on recreational level teams. Recreational teams were previously organized through the Watertown Park & Rec Department, but they have not had any teams in the past three years. We understand that girls may have an interest in learning and/or continuing to play softball, without the expense and time commitment that comes with travel teams. One of our primary goals is to provide opportunities for girls to play softball. Adding recreational teams helps to accomplish this goal. Teams will be formed based on level of interest.

All of the Watertown Thunder coaches are volunteers committed to the goal of increasing the competitive level of play of our players. They dedicate their time and talents to improve the girls’ skills during indoor winter practices, summer league games, and summer tournaments. There are also opportunities for players to attend clinics offered by professionals & experienced athletes. These clinics and the competitive play help prepare our players for high school competition.
