5/23/20 - State Class A Tournament Covid-19 Update!!!

The 2020 USA Softball State Class A Tournament scheduled to be held June 25th through June 28th in Watertown has been cancelled. The City of Watertown along with the Park and Recreation Department made a decision yesterday to close all city fields for tournaments through the end of July. We will work on issuing refunds to all registered teams. If you made payment with a card your refund will be credited to the card that was used. If you made payment with a check we will mail a refund check to you. We thank you for your registration and planned participation in the State Class A Tournament. We hope to see you in 2021. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding your refund. Also, please see the attached statement from USA Softball of Wisconsin.

The Watertown Thunder Fastpitch Softball Organization, located in Watertown, Wisconsin, is an organization committed to the development of girls fastpitch softball in southeastern Wisconsin. Watertown Thunder offers recreational and tournament leagues for girls ages from under 8 to 18. The Thunder program participates in park & recreation leagues in the area and are members of the ASA (Amateur Softball Association). Thunder also participates in various tournaments throughout the summer. Also, we do sponsor the state and national qualifier tournaments in the summer. Please see attached links to sign up for those.

If recreational fastpitch is your interest, please contact the Watertown Park & Rec. office in March. They are located at 514 South First Street, Watertown, WI 53094, 920-262-8080. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.  
 
For tournament leagues and competitive play, please contact Matt Meracle at 262-370-2250. He will get you in contact with the appropriate coach.

All of the Watertown Thunder coaches are volunteers committed to the goal of increasing the competitive level of play of our players. They dedicate their time and talents to improve the girls’ skills during indoor winter practices, summer league games, and summer tournaments. There are also opportunities for the players to attend clinics offered by professionals. These clinics and the competitive play prepares our players for high school competition.
